Euglena Co., Ltd. Co-sponsored the "Makoto Hasegawa Basketball Event" held in Ishigaki Island.

On May 3rd and 4th, “Makoto Hasegawa Basketball Event”, organized by the Yaeyama Basketball Association and the Yaeyama Mini-Basketball League, co-sponsored by Euglena Co., Ltd., was held at Ishigaki City in Okinawa Prefecture.

Approximately 150 elementary school students participated on the 3rd and 250 middle/high school students participated on the 4th, with over 50 instructors in total. Makoto Hasegawa of bj League Niigata Albirex, who favors the “euglena” supplement, taught the students basic techniques of basketball, and advised the instructors on how to teach basketball. For over three hours, the participants practiced dribbling and passing, and worked to learn the different techniques. Our company provided the “euglena” supplement to support their performance.

By holding events, Euglena will offer to help strengthen both mental and physical health of children at Ishigaki Island.
